If you’re missing a tooth or several, it’s likely you feel embarrassed about your smile, or you’re having a difficult time chewing or speaking. We want to help our patients restore the smile they once had with our different tooth replacement options. Dr. Hill is here to provide you with the following tooth replacement treatments at our Clayton office.

Dental Implants

Our most recommended tooth replacement option is dental implants. Dental implants act like natural teeth by creating an anchor to your jawbone. The dental implants act as anchors just like a tooth root and hold your restoration in place. Since your restorations are secured to the dental implants, you can eat, chew, and speak comfortably without worrying about your restoration falling out. Dental implants also help you keep your youthful appearance because they allow you to maintain bone mass in your jaw. For single teeth to be replaced, we typically attach a dental crown to your dental implant.

Dental Bridges

Dental bridges replace missing teeth by using two existing teeth as anchors. If you don’t have any existing teeth to use as anchors, we can also use dental implants. The anchors are attached to the bridge or tooth replacement in place in your mouth. This is an easy way to replace your missing teeth without dental implants.

Dentures

Our dental office offers several different dentures options. To start, we offer traditional partial and full dentures. Partial dentures replace sections of missing teeth in your mouth and are held in place with wires and clasps. Full dentures replace an entire jaw of missing teeth and are held in place with adhesives and suction.

If you would prefer a more secure version of dentures, you can opt for implant dentures. These are dentures that are held in place with dental implants. The support of dental implants allows your dentures to function more like natural teeth.

We also offer FOY® Dentures which are a new technology that uses neuromuscular dentistry to improve the fit and function of your dentures. They also support your facial structures to rejuvenate your facial appearance to look younger.

If you have one or an entire mouth of missing teeth, our dentist would love to help you restore your smile. Give Smile On Dental Studio a call to schedule a consultation at (314) 678-7876.
